Memorial Graveside Services will be conducted on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at Trinity Cemetery in Nutbush, TN, with Bro. Bob Connerley and Bro. Ralph Brown officiating. Mary Julia was born in Haywood County on July 26, 1946, to Tom and Mildred Fisher. She worked at the Haywood Board of Education as an Adult Education Teacher. Hers was a life well lived. Along with being wife, Momma, and Bebe, Mary Julia served several other roles to her family and friends. She was the key decision-maker, game master, vacation planner, marathon shopper, and constant supporter. Her legacy will live on in the lives of those she loved best, as they continue to plan fabulous family getaways, conduct highly competitive Pickwick game nights, and cheer on her UT Vols. Our time together was time well spent. She taught those around her through her actions to be gracious, strong, independent, and positive. Mary Julia was most importantly a faithful servant of the Lord, remained steadfast through difficulties, and had an unending appetite for studying His Word. She loved the church and was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Freddy Gause of Brownsville, TN; two daughters, Julia Gause and husband, Jay Johnson, of Knoxville, TN, and Lara English, and husband Lee, of Nutbush, TN. She was blessed with 2 wonderful grandchildren, Jack and Elizabeth English. Honorary Pallbearers for Mrs. Gause will be Robert Shultze, Rudd Shultze, Roger Fisher, Zane Fisher, Tony Bailey and Bill Parker.
