Born December 23, 1921 to Irma and G. W. Steele who preceded her in death along with her first husband, Charles E. McBride, second husband, Sidney J. Outlaw, brothers, Tommy Charles and Marvin Steele. Surviving are her daughter, Mary E. McBride Whitlock; son-in-law, Roy W. Whitlock; son, Billy E. McBride; daughter- in- law, Delores McBride; six grandchildren, David W. Whitlock (Michele), Douglas R. Whitlock (Leanne), Denise M. Whitlock Gill (Andrew), Lora F. McBride Hurt, Joseph E. McBride (Tiffany, and Lisa R. McBride (Tony Alvey); 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and an extended family; sister, Lucille Steele Hight; brother-in-law, Romus Hight; sister-in-law, Albertine Booth McBride; and many nieces and nephews. She is entrusted to the care of O. D. White and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Home, 107 S. LaFayette, Brownsville, TN 38012 on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. CST with interment at Holly Grove Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home and Wednesday 4-8 p.m. CST and Thursday 2-3:30 p.m. CST at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Home. Read More Read Less
