Wilma's Obituary Mrs. Wilma Nell Garrett, age 91, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at her residence in Brownsville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents: John Parker and Anna Kilgore Parker; her husband: John Harris Garrett; eleven brothers and sisters; and three grandchildren: Eddie Garrett, William David Pate, and Stephen Brown. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 19, 2009 in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Garrett, a member of Allen Baptist Church, is survived by two sons: Billy Harris Garrett (Jessie) and David G. Garrett, both of Brownsville, TN; five daughters: Patricia Pate, Alamo, TN, Frances Wilson (Wesley), Bryan, TX, Brenda Kendrick (Doug), Phyllis Cobb, and Carolyn Brown (Gary), all of Brownsville, TN; one sister: Mildred Stanfield, Lafollette, TN; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Brownsville Funeral Home.
