Willis was born on February 26, 1944, in Haywood County to Willis Duke Warren, Sr. and Dorothy Jean Moore Warren, both of whom preceded him in death. He worked in construction for many years, where he will long be remembered as hard worker. He loved this country and served in the National Guard Army. He was a spiritual man who loved God and the work of the church. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gadsden, TN. He would greatly enjoy the Civil War reenactments. He loved to dance and found great pleasure in spending time with his family, his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Bowers of Chapel Hill, TN; two brothers, Keith Warren (Nancy) and Carl Warren (Julie); one sister, Sue Ellen Lesikar; grandchildren, Thomas Reid Bowers (Carley), Bryant Alexander Bowers, Harrison Duke Warren, and Sophia Claire Warren; great-grandchildren, Jax Thomas Bowers and Kayson Elissa Bowers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Andrew Duke Warren; one brother, Leslie Warren; and one grandchild, Lauren Abigail Warren.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
