He was a self-employed mechanic for over 40 years, an avid fisherman, loved riding motorcycles and camping. Visitation will be 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Monday, May 19, 2014, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville, Tennessee. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 19, 2014, in the Chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes officiated by Bro. William Welch. Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Becker of Brighton, TN, and Sam Lovelady of Ripley, TN; three brothers, Jack Lovelady of Amarillo, TX, Ernest Lovelady of Ripley, TN, and Timothy Bendall of Brownsville, TN; three sisters, Earlene Gatlin of Ripley, TN, Joyce Robbins of Riplely, TN and Ella Mae Porch of Texas; and four grandchildren, James Noah Becker, Addison Claire Becker, Sydney Shay Vowell, and James Richard 'Trey' Vowell, III. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Mabel Mondy Lovelady; and a brother, Roy Lovelady.
