William "Shaggy" B. Doop

William “Shaggy” B. Doop, Jr., age 66, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, at AHC in Dyersburg, TN. Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 4:00 PM at the Gates Cemetery in Gates, TN. He was born on July 11, 1956, in McAllen, TX to William Berl and Peggy Moore Doop. He worked as an electrician. He served his country in the United States Navy. He is survived by one son, William Berl Doop, III; his mother, Peggy Doop; four sisters, Shirley Dancy (Boe), Terry Vestal, Cherlene Doop, and Donna Doop; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, William Berl Doop and one brother James Doop. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
