William Hollis' Obituary
William Hollis Davis, age 79, of Bells, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. Mr. Davis was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, a retired supervisor with Alton Box Company in Jackson, Tennessee, served in the United States Army during the Korean War, avid outdoorsman, and loved being with family and friends. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Thursday, June 26, 2014, and 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, Friday, June 27, 2014, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Bells, Tennessee. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, June 27, 2014, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Bells, Tennessee, officiated by Bro. Frank Kemper with interment to follow in Robertson Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years, Royce Dell Hart Davis; two sons, Keith (Trish) Davis and Randy (Amy) Davis both of Bells, Tennessee; four daughters, Sherrie (Joe) Manning, Vickie (Keith) Reynolds, Lisa (Jim) Davis, all of Bells, Tennessee, and Tammy (Scott) Morphis of Jackson, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Ruby Mai Griffin Davis; three brothers, Jerry, Venis, and Larry Davis; and a sister, Nora Nanney.
