Wesley Jerome Taylor, Jr. was born on July 8, 2004 in Jackson, TN to Wesley Jerome Taylor, Sr. and Judy Renee Farmer Taylor of Brownsville, TN. On February 10, 2021 God decided to pick one of his perfect flowers and called Wesley, Jr. home.
Funeral Services for Wesley Jerome Taylor will be private. The burial is open to the public and will take place on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 12 Noon at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Brownsville, TN.
“Jr.” as he was affectionately called by his family, was a very loving, kind, generous, respectful 16 year-old, who was very active in his service to God, always willing to participate in Sunday School Services and other church activities. He was a very active in R.O.T.C., the Boys & Girls Club, BETA Club and H.O.S.A., with the goal of pursuing a career in the Nursing Profession. Jr. also loved working with flowers and growing his own vegetable garden, lovingly sharing with others the produce of his hard labor. He graduated from Haywood Middle School in 2018 with Honors and was a Junior at Haywood High School at the time of his passing.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving parents Wesley Sr. and Judy Renee Taylor, of Brownsville, TN; his big sister Shania LaShall Taylor of Toledo, OH; his baby brother Anthony Joseph Lee (A.J.) Taylor of Brownsville, TN; grandparents David and Judy Farmer of Alamo, TN, Clora Taylor Gregory (Archie) of Nashville, TN, MeMaw Evelyn Taylor Hess and Granddaddy Willie Hess of Brownsville, TN; one niece Sharijannah La’Shae Taylor of Toledo, OH; great grandmother Viola Taylor of Brownsville, TN; two uncles, David Wayne Farmer of Alamo, TN and Anthony Eugene Hess of Jackson, TN; nine great aunts, Helen Farmer of Alamo, TN, Maxie Falkner of Bells, TN, Cathy Parker (Ronnie) of Gadsden, TN, Hester Tucker (Carl) of Alamo, TN, Tina Dutton (Jimmy) of Alamo, TN, Althea Taylor Jones (Joseph) of Kernersville, NC, Christean Taylor Graves (Otis) of Brownsville, TN; Vivian Taylor Goodman (Millard Sr.) of Decatur, IL, and Kimberly Dickerson (Dewayne) of Jackson, TN; seven great uncles, Marvin Waddle (Patricia) of Milan, TN, Charles Waddle of Alamo, TN, Tommy Waddle, Sr. (Wanda) of Alamo, TN, Ceolia Parker of Brownsville, TN, William Washington of Memphis, TN, Lee Taylor, Jr. (Janice) of Henderson, TN, Ray Taylor, Sr. (Cassandra) of College Park, GA; and a multitude of cousins and friends.
Wesley, Jr, was preceded in death by four great aunts, Antionette Taylor Parker, Joyce Ann Taylor Washington, Willie Mae Mealer, Joyce King; and three great uncles, William Ray Farmer, Sr., J.C. Farmer and Donald Farmer.
Wesley, Jr. was loved by all that knew him. . .
