Virginia's Obituary Mrs. Virginia Mitchell Smith, age, 92, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in Baptist Memorial Hospital (Tipton), Covington, TN. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her father; Barney McCuan; her mother: Iva Givvons McCuan; two brothers: Bryon and Billy McCuan; two sisters: Frances Hopkins and Elizabeth Drake. She was a member of Union Grove Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held in the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Home Chapel, Brownsville, TN, at 1:00 P.M., Friday, October 1, 2010. Visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. She is survived by her son: Robert Mitchell (Joann), Leslie, MI; her daughter: Paulette Copeland (Phillip), Covington, TN; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
