Vickie's Obituary
Mrs. Vickie Althea Shaulis McCutchen age 69, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Methodist Hospice in Memphis, TN. She was born on July 17, 1946 in Florence, AL, to the late Curtis Nichols Shaulis and Laura Elizabeth Martindale Castellaw. She was a member of the Bartlett Baptist Church and a volunteer for the Regional Medical Center of Memphis. Mrs. McCutchen was an avid artist and loved painting with watercolors and oil. She was known as “Ma Bucks” to Troop 255 of the Bartlett, TN Boy Scouts of America. She and her husband Chris just celebrated 50 years of marriage this year. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Michael Andrew Epps III. Survivors are her husband of 50 years: Mr. Chris McCutchen of Bartlett, TN; one son: Christopher Todd McCutchen and wife Wendy of Atoka, TN; one daughter: Elizabeth Renee Mullins and husband Marshall of Eads, TN. She leaves a legacy of four grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral services for Mrs. McCutchen will be conducted on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 1:30 PM in the Chapel of Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Grover Westover officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Brownsville, TN.
