Vicki Lynn Meadows-Futrell

Vicki Lynn Meadows-Futrell, age 57, resident of Braden, Tennessee passed peacefully at home on October 11, 2024. Vicki Lynn Meadows-Futrell was born on August 28, 1967 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the daughter of James Laverne “Rooster” Meadows and Martha Bowling Meadows. 

 Vicki started her love for adventure and outdoors at a young age. She enjoyed riding horses, any type of ATV vehicle, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Vicki was passionate about dancing and socializing with others. She worked several jobs throughout her lifetime where she made countless friends. Vicki was gifted with the ability to see the good in others. She had the most tender, caring heart to everyone she met. Vicki will be remembered by her big heartwarming smile and her carefree spirit. She touched many lives, and she will be greatly missed.

 Vicki is survived by her two beloved children, Kaci Lane Johnson and Jared Tyler Johnson; her grandson, Lucas Michael York; her parents, James Laverne “Rooster” Meadows and Martha Bowling Meadows; her sister, Cathy Meadows Bray; her nephews, Bryson Riley Meadows and James Dylan Meadows; her aunts and uncles, Carolyn Broughton, Sue Haley, Mary Dean, Johnny “Buddy” Meadows.

 Vicki was preceded in death by her “soulmate”, David Futrell; her aunts and uncles, Peggy Bowling Wiseman, Becky Bowling Wiseman, Margaret Lorene Edlund, Faye Meadows Thornburg, Otto Warren Meadows.

 A Memorial Service for Vicki will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Braden United Methodist Church, 230 Highway 59, Braden, TN 38049 with Pastor David Reeves officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
