Veronica Susie's Obituary Mrs. Veronica Joyce Susie Darden Fortune age 74 of Bells, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Crestview Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 28, 1942 in Bells to the late Claudie Darden and Freeda Bell Williams Darden. She retired from Proctor and Gamble. Mrs. Fortune is survived by a son, Herbert Foster, Jr. of Jackson; daughter, Diana Sims and husband Allen of Bells. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Brooke McCain of Brownsville and Ryan Sims of Bells as well as a great grandchild Ian McCain. Funeral services for Mrs. Veronica Susie Fortune will be conducted Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bells Funeral Home with Dr. Fred Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. The Fortune family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from noon until the service hour.
