Vernell Warren Colvett

Vernell Warren Colvett, age 75, retired business owner, passed in peace on Thursday, May 23, 2019.  Best known in the community as the owner of Vernell’s on Hwy 70 in Brownsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan G and Hazel Warren and her siblings: Virginia, Dan Jr, TJ and Opal.  Feeling the loss are her two daughters: Delaine Chilcutt (Todd) Brownsville, TN & Leanne King, Jackson, TN.  Three grandchildren: Josh Chilcutt, Holly White (Brad) & Alex-Anna Miller (Cole). As well as four great-grandchildren.  

A memorial service will be held at the original Vernell’s, currently (The Firehouse) on Wednesday evening, May 29, 2019 at 6pm.
