Venie Wise

Mrs. Lavenia "Venie" Dyson Wise, 87 passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 in the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM, Saturday, December 3, in the Beech Grove Church of Christ with Bro. William Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. A visitation for the Wise family will be from 5 to 7 PM, Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Wise was preceded in death by her son: Clarence Gibbs; her daughter: Susie Farmer; two sisters: Laurine Mays and Mary Magnolia Beverly and two brothers: Al P. Dyson and Prince Albert Rayner. She is survived by two sons: Eddie B. Wise (Clarisa), Johnny Wise; three daughters: Beulah Bradford, Virginia A. Wise Kimble and Margie Lewis (Johnnie), all of Brownsville, TN; thirty five grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be sent to the Thornton Road Church of Christ, 1238 Thornton Rd., Brownsville, Tennessee 38012.
