Tony Joe Castleman

Tony Joe Castleman, age 72, passed away on August 21, 2020, at his home in Bells, TN. A Celebration of His Life Services will be conducted Monday, August 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Christ Church of Brownsville with Bro. Eddie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cypress UMC Cemetery in Bells, TN. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020, at 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Christ Church of Brownsville. Castleman was a U.S. Army veteran, and retired from MTD, he was an avid fisherman, a wonderful husband, and an exceptional father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing with his friends at the Tennessee River and being with his family. He is survived by his wife Brenda Caton Castleman, his children, Lesley Crittenden (Butch) of Three Way, Amber Noble (Lewis) of Oklahoma, Joe Castleman (Tanya) of Knoxville, Alisha Wilson of Athens, AL, Michelle Scott (David) of Brownsville, and Stacy Doss of Bells; his brothers Harold Castleman (Joanie) of Llano, TX, Charles Castleman of Brownsville, TN; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents H.T. and Lillian Gayle Johnson Castleman, and his first wife and mother of his children Geraldine Evans Castleman. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society, Attn: Sharolett Allen, c/o InSouth Bank, P.O. Box 879, Brownsville, TN 38012.
