Mr. Tony Nelson Benard, age 59, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at his home in Brownsville, TN. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2014, 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Tony was preceded in death by his father: Homer Benard, two sisters: Bernice Benard and Jeanette Culver. He is survived by his wife: Patricia Phillips Benard, Brownsville, TN, his mother: Jennie Johnson Benard, Whiteville, TN step son: Richard Phillip Bishop, Chattanooga, TN, a brother: Otis Benard (Bernice) Whiteville, TN, a sister: Susan Hill (David), Brownsville, TN and a step grandchild: William "Will" Edward Bishop. Memorials are requested to Lea and Simmons Funeral Home toward the funeral expense.
