Tina Goodman Tice

Tina Ilene Goodman Tice, age 49, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel in Brownsville, TN with Bro. Alan McCall officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant UMC Cemetery in the Hillville Community. A Visitation for receiving friends and family will be on Tuesday Evening, January 11, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel. Tina was born on September 6, 1972, in Fayette County, TN to Charles Goodman and Sandra Austin Goodman. She worked as a Lab Technician for Standard Construction. She loved to cook, and she found great joy in spending time with her family and her 2 grandsons, Bryson and Kelynn. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, John Tice of Moscow, TN; two daughters, Carrie Evans (Cliff) of Whiteville, TN and Chelsea Freels of Walnut, MS; her parents, Charles and Sandra Goodman of Whiteville, TN; one brother, Bobby Goodman (Susan) of Brownsville, TN; two grandsons, Bryson Evans and Kelynn Evans. She was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Goodman; one nephew, Wesley Goodman; maternal grandparents, Robert Austin and Eda Austin McDowell; paternal grandparents, George and Pauline Goodman. Pallbearers for the service will be Derrick Voyles, Adam Phillips, Jimmy McBride, Bobby Goodman, Jason Goodman, Chris McBride. Honorary Pallbearers are Bubba McBride, Billy Austin, and Ronnie Austin. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. All arrangements and services are under the direction of Lea & Simmons Funeral Group–Brownsville Chapel.
