Tammy Phipps

Tammy Rae Lewis Phipps, age 55, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon, TN. Her Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Church in Alamo, TN. Tammy was born on May 3, 1965, in Haywood County to Albert and Doris Lewis. She was self employed in construction. She was married to Billy Phipps. She loved her babies and her family. She enjoyed shooting pool. She was one who loved to clean and found enjoyment in home interior decorating. She is survived by her husband Billy Phipps of Jackson, TN; her mother, Doris Lewis of Bruceton, TN; two daughters, Kimberly Dawn Johnson of Stanton, TN, and Shannon Pirtle (Jon) of Stanton, TN; four sisters, Carrie June Zar of Hollow Rock, TN, Martha Ellen Maddox (Robert) of Brownsville, TN, Christina Lynn Milton of Bruceton, TN and Christy Dawn Lubben of Holladay, TN. She leaves a legacy of 12 grandchildren, Dallas Brooks Kennedy, Autumn Dawn Ivey, Kaytlin Marie Devette Kennedy, Liberty M. R. Johnson, Justice N. D. Johnson, Eathan A. Johnson, London F. Pirtle, Chyna D. Pirtle, Emma L. Pirtle, Phoenix R. Pirtle, Jakayla Pirtle, and Jakalus Pirtle and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Ray Lewis. All service and arrangements are under the direction of Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
