Syble Smith Lott

Mrs. Syble Smith Lott, age 88 passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the Crestview Health Care Center. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018, 12:00 PM -1:00 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Syble was an active member of the Women’s Ministry at the First Assembly of God Church, she loved traveling (especially to the coast), crocheting, people coming to visit and spending time with family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; James Roy and Lela Arnold Smith, a son; James Robert Lott, a daughter; Lela Ann Lott, a brother: James Roy “Bubba” Smith, Jr., four sisters: Martha Hendrix, Melba Smith, Betty Ann Johnson, Katherine Milam and a son-in-law; Jerry Morris. She is survived by her husband of 73 years; Ernest P. Lott, a son; Paul Lott, two daughters: Shirley Lott Roberts (Billy), Bobbie Lott Morris, a sister; Genrose Hopper all of Brownsville, nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
