Susan's Obituary
Mrs. Susan Elaine Landreth, age 62 of Stanton, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was a member of the Stanton Baptist Church and was employed with Teknor Apek for 20 years. Mrs. Landreth was an avid Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals fan. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and a loving mother and grandmother to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Moss and Opal Pittman Moss and a grandchild, Seth Searles. Mrs. Landreth was blessed to have the following support team and caregivers: Lonnie, Angela, Scott, Ashlynn, Hunter, Luc, Amanda and Jackie Newton. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mr. Lonnie Landreth of Stanton, TN; her daughter: Angela (Scott) McCuan of Bells; 8 brothers: Kenneth Moss of New Jersey, Noel Moss of Mississippi, Raymond Moss of North Carolina, William Moss of Memphis, Wilson Moss of Stanton, Larry and Royce Moss of Cordova, Joe Moss of Virginia; 6 sister: Joyce Sanders of Somerville, Becky Sanders of Brownsville, Nita (Larry) Governator of Memphis, Beverly Newton (Chuck) of Milton, Donna Evans of Lexington and Jean Moss of New York; 6 grandchildren: Ashlynn Opal Elaine Young, Luc Preston Young, Hunter Scott Garner; Hannah Celeste Searles, Hayden Vaughn and Haley Inez. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Brownsville Funeral Home, Thursday October 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM, with Bro. William Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Stanton Cemetery. Visitation with the Landreth family will be held at Brownsville Funeral Home, Wednesday October 7, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
