Sue Baggett's Obituary Mrs. Sue Baggett Gibbs age 85 of Alamo, formerly of Haywood County, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born February 11, 1933 in Haywood County to the late Andrew Thomas Baggett and Rachel Louise Evans Baggett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Gibbs, Sr.; son, John S. Gibbs, Jr.; daughter, Cynthia Louise Paris; brother, Jackie Thomas Baggett; sister, Billie Hicks. Survivors include four grandchildren, John Phillip Gibbs and wife Angela of Friendship, Christy Parson and husband Tico of Bells, John Richard Presley of Ripley and Carolyn Nicoal Paris of Bells; two brothers, Andrew Thomas Baggett and Sammy Baggett both of Brownsville; sister, Phyllis Baggett of Brownsville. Other survivors include six great grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Gibbs will be conducted Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Murry’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro.
