Steven Ray Lax

Steven Ray Lax, age 68, of Jackson, TN passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home. Mr. Lax was born in Paris, TN on December 22, 1953, to the late Wilton Lax and his surviving mother, Sue Nash Lax. He was one of the cofounders and administrators of the Facebook page “Glory Dayz” where he reconnected with junior high and high school friends of years past. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Also surviving is his wife of over 20 years: Pamela Callahan Lax of Jackson, TN; one son: Ladd Caldwell (Chelsey) of Nashville, TN; one daughter: Shawn Lax Prater of Jackson, TN; one brother: Randy Lax (Alicia) of Lakeland, TN; one sister: Gay Allgood (Charles) of Cordova, TN; He leaves a legacy of one grandson: Aiden Prater; two nephews: Chris Lax (Christy), Andrew Allgood; one niece: Amy Allgood Ledbetter (Byron); three great-nephews and one great niece. The Lax family are honoring his wishes for cremation and further information will be announced as it becomes available by the Bells Funeral Home.
