Stephen Delaney

Stephen Delaney, age 42, was born on September 3, 1982, in Covington, TN. He passed away November 17, 2024, in Knoxville, TN. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home, in Brownsville, TN. This gathering will provide an opportunity for those who knew Stephen to come together to celebrate his life and the lasting impact he had on those around him. 

Stephen's passing leaves a profound sense of loss among his family and friends, who will forever remember him for his love and dedication to those he held dear. Stephen enjoyed farming which allowed him to spend time outdoors. One of his favorite pastimes was riding his motorcycle and being out in nature. 

Stephen was a devoted father to his son, Gunner Delaney, and daughter, Jade Delaney, both of Stanton, TN. He valued family above everything, and his love for them was evident in every aspect of his life. He is also survived by Tabitha Delaney, of Stanton, TN, the mother of his children, who shared in the journey of parenthood. His parents, Leroy and Glenda Burk Delaney, of Stanton, TN, his brother, Johnny Delaney (Kim) and their two sons of Knoxville, TN, and his grandmother, Vera Watson of Stanton, TN will carry his memory in their hearts. Additionally, Stephen was survived by his girlfriend, Cindy Antwine, of Cookeville, TN. He also leaves behind his beloved cat, Ginger, who was a source of joy and companionship to him. His legacy of love, strength, and connection will remain in the hearts of many.
