Shirley Brandon Turner

Ms. Shirley Brandon Turner, age 86 passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 in the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, TN. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 12, 2017 in the Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, June 12, 2017 from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Ms. Shirley worked at the Carnegie Library, Edenton Lamb Wholesale Grocer and also the Brownsville Utility Department for many years. She loved to read and work in her garden. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Reginald Lynmore Brandon and Estelle White Brandon. She is survived by three sons: Scott Turner (Carolyn), Bolivar, TN, Mark Turner (Kim), Collierville, TN and Clay Turner (Sandy), Union, KY, one brother: Reginald L. Brandon (Sharon), Laurens, SC, one sister: Genie Hill (Jim), Brownsville, TN, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 117 E. Franklin Street, Brownsville, TN 38012.
