Shirley's Obituary Mrs. Shirley Jean Baggett Saxon age 72 of Alamo, formerly of Brownsville, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born on December 30, 1945 in Brownsville to the late William Baggett and Marie Lunsford Baggett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Saxon, a brother Randy Baggett and a sister Peggy Kirk. Survivors include three sons, Kenny Tisdale of Georgia, Michael Saxon (Kristie) of Brownsville and Osten Saxon (Allison) of Alamo; one daughter Tabitha Taylor of Brownsville; one brother, Brannon Baggett of Memphis and one sister, Charlene Ragland of Memphis. Other survivors include six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Serving as pallbearers are Michael Saxon, Osten Saxon, Miller Saxon, Chad Kirk and Jeremy Faught. Funeral Services for Mrs. Saxon will be conducted on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Brownsville funeral home with Bro. Ike Aslin, officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen Baptist Church Cemetery. The Saxon Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 8, 2018 from noon until the service hour.
