Scotty's Obituary
Brownsville- Mr. Scotty Lee Peters, age 51, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Alive Hospice, Skyline Madison Campus, in Madison, TN. He was born in Madison County on December 23, 1963, to Treva Campbell and the late Bobby Lee Peters. Scotty worked as a concrete finisher for Sports Precision and he was a certified tow motor operator. Scotty was of the Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his father: Bobby Lee Peters; his step-father: Hillard Carlton; his grandparents: Horace and Della Peters, and Irby and Myrtle Campbell He is survived by his mother: Treva Ann Campbell Peters Carlton; his daughter: Lindsy Rene McKinley, (Billy); his sister: Vanessa Richards; two half-sisters: Christy Peters Brown, (Steve), and Tiffany Peters; a step-brother: Jerry Carlton, (Mary); a grandson: William McKinley; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Serving as Pallbearers will be Billy McKinley, Tommy Gammel, Harlan Kee, Darrell Martin, Robert Campbell Jr., and Steve Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be first cousins and his brother-in-law. Funeral Services for Mr. Scotty Lee Peters will be conducted on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at 1:00 pm at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes, Brownsville Chapel with Bro. Paul Baker officiating. Interment to follow in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery in Bolivar, TN. The Peters family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the service hour at 1:00 pm at the Brownsville Chapel.
