Sarah Cathy Jones, age 66, passed away peacefully, on Monday, December 9, 2024, at her home in Brownsville, TN. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 12:00 PM, at the St. John Baptist Church, 11055 Hwy. 76 S., Stanton, TN.

Sarah was born on March 16, 1958, to Joe Lee Jones and Ophelia Hammond Jones in Brownsville, TN. She enjoyed babysitting and had a big heart for children. Sarah loved cooking for friends and family and was known by many as the “Chittlin” lady. This brought her great joy. She loved her family dearly.

Sarah is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Vonsha Wilson (Christopher); one brother, Joe Lee Jones, Jr. (Janice); three sisters, Hazel Walker (Eugene), Linda Walker (Tommy) Brenda Brooks (Tommy Lee); four grandchildren, Shadaysha Witherspoon, ShaDallisa Price, Christona Wilson, Maurkice Fouse; one goddaughter, Khadejah Hodge; one godson, RonDarius McFarland; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Lee and Ophelia Hammond Jones; and one son, Larry Lamont Fouse.
