Samuel's Obituary BELLS, TN - Mr. Samuel Joe Rankin age 77, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015, in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Mr. Rankin was employed at Oak Haven Plaza in Brownsville and had previously retired as Feed Mill Manager for Farmers Gin Company. He was a elder of First Christian Church of Bells and served our country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond S. Rankin and wife, Vera Emerson Rankin and a sister, Shelby Jean Staggs. He is survived by his wife, Annie Rankin and a son, Anthony "Tony" Rankin of Brownsville; two daughters, Michelle (Phillip) Porter of Bells and Tina (Patrick) Haynes of Brownsville; two brothers, Terry (Lorraine) Rankin and Raymond "Donnie" (Lenore) Rankin both of Illinois; a sister, Mary Ann (Marvin) Ross; six grandchildren, Aaron Rankin, Joseph Haynes, Mitchell Porter, Ariel Rankin, Jacob Haynes and Jared Haynes and two great-grandchildren, Ellie Haynes and Aubree Clark. Serving as pallbearers are Aaron Rankin, Joseph Haynes, Mitchell Porter, Jacob Haynes, Phillip Porter, Patrick Haynes, Scott Hunter, Stanley Scott and Jared Haynes. Funeral services for Mr. Samuel Joe Rankin will be conducted on Sunday, August 30, 2015, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bells Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Zuehlke officiating. Burial will follow in Oakview Memorial Park with Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 pm.
