Mrs. Sadie Maurine Whittimore Evans, age 84, passed away at Crestview Healthcare Center, Friday, May 13, 2011, in Brownsville, Tennessee. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday, May 15, 2011 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M., Saturday, May 14, 2011 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her parents: Lonnie and Alice Watson Evans, her husband; Norman Evans, a son; Leon Evans, two brothers: Allen Whittimore and Pleas Whittimore and a sister; Ruby Phillips. She is survived by her daughter; Betty Johnson, Brownsville, TN, her brother; Lonnie Whittimore, Jr., Rockford, IL, three grandchildren: Kenny Evans, Chris Evans and Jerald Johnson and one great-grandchild; Skyler Johnson.
