Ruby Nell Robbins

Mrs. Ruby Nell Robbins, age 84 passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at her home in Jackson, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Ridgecrest Cemetery in Jackson, TN. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Ruby retired from Porter Cable after 26 years as a plant nurse. She was also a plant nurse at Owens Corning and worked at the Jackson Clinic as an LPN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Robbins, her parents, Arthur Dailey and Lonnie McClain Dailey, three brothers, R.V. Dailey, William Dailey and Fred Dailey and one sister, Jewell Bridger. She is survived by three daughters, Terry Johnson, Jackson, TN, Teresa Baxter (Tommy), Brownsville, TN and Tamara Tosh, Jackson, TN, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and two special friends, Clois Matheny and Shirley Scarbrough, both of Jackson, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
