Rosco's Obituary Mr. Allen Rosco Tharp age 79 of Decaturville, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Decatur County Manor. He was born in Decatur County November 28, 1938 to the late John Lesley Tharp and Ida Mae Stafford Tharp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert Tharp, Wilburn Tharp, Wayne Tharp, Frank Tharp and Jerry Tharp; and one sister Judy Hopper Sims. Survivors include his loving wife, Evelyn; three sons, Kenneth Tharp and wife Lisa of Decaturville, Darrell Cagle of Bath Springs, and Rodney Tharp and wife Angela of Bath Springs; one daughter Vickie Tharp of Beacon; two brothers, Jeff Hopper and wife Judy of Bath Springs and Don Hopper and wife Pat of Sardis; one sister Nancy Hearington and husband Robert of Parsons. Other survivors include nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Tharp will be conducted Friday, February 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Bath Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Weatherford and Bro. Arthur Bain, officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Tharp Family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
