Ronald E. Clayton

Ronald E. Clayton, age 87, passed away at his residence in Brownsville, TN on Monday, November 11, 2019.  Funeral Services for Mr. Clayton will be conducted on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN with Bro. Craig Clayton officiating.  Burial will follow at Brownsville Memorial Gardens.  Visitation for Mr. Clayton will be conducted, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 12 PM to 2 PM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. 

Ronald E. Clayton was born on November 6, 1932 in Cleveland, TN.  He worked for MTD as a Tool and Die Supervisor.  He is survived by his son, Joe Clayton, (Donna), Brownsville, TN, a daughter, Cheryl Simmons, (David) Whiteville, TN, his companion of 25 years, Elke Steele, Brownsville, TN, three grandchildren: Craig Clayton, Michael Simmons, Matthew Simmons and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Clayton, his parents, Edgar Morgan and Lula Gertrude Newell Clayton, a brother, Jim Odell and a sister, Ruby Chastain.
