Robert Joseph Smith, Sr.

Mr. Robert “Bobby” Joseph Smith, Sr., age 83 of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Graveside services will be conducted at the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 1:30 P.M.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Mr. Lionel Malcolm Smith and Mrs. Agnes Theresa LoBrutto Smith; a sister:  Lillian Smith Jones and a son-in-law: Johnny O. Howard.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife:  Mrs. Sylvia Anne McCaleb Smith; one son:  Robert J. Smith Jr. (Barbie) and one daughter:  Rebecca Smith Howard all of Brownsville, TN; two grandchildren:  Kimberly Hood (Robin) and Theresa Haynes (Brandon) and four great-grandchildren:  Rylee and Sawyer Hood, Braxton Tasker and Bentley Haynes.
