Robert's Obituary Robert Lee Pittman age, 71 of Ripley, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016, at his residence. He was born in December 3, 1944 in Dancyville, TN to the late Jimmie Pittman and Helen Martin Pittman. Mr. Pittman was a carpenter and cabinet maker and Veteran of the Tennessee Army National Guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Pittman as well as three step sons, Wesley New, Billy Joe Bishop and Robert Thomas Vestal. Mr. Pittman is survived by his wife Shirley Wilson Pittman of Ripley; five sons, Jimmie Pittman of Bolivar Bobby Joe Pittman of South Carolina, Brandon Pittman and Tyler Pittman both of Ripley and Adam Bishop of Ecuador; daughters, Teresa Cox of Jackson and Kelsey Pittman of Ripley; two step daughters, Jennifer Hughes of Whiteville and Mandy Robison of Ripley; brother, Kenneth Pittman of Arkansas; three sisters, Betty Knupp of Arkansas, Patsy Holden of Birdsong and Nancy Freeman of Camden. Other survivors include numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Pittman will be conducted on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Brownsville Funeral Home with Pastor William Welch officiating and cremation will follow.
