Robert's Obituary Robert Calvin Norris, age 70 of Haywood County near Bells, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home, with Dr. Mark Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery, Madison County. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Brownsville Funeral Home. Calvin was a member at Brownsville Baptist Church. He attended Christ Community Church during the past year where he quickly became an integral part of the congregation. Calvin was born on May 12, 1948 and lived most of his life on the Norris Farm, which he loved dearly. He spent many years farming and worked the last twenty-five years in the timber industry. Calvin will be remembered for his endearing spirit and warm wit. He had a love of local lore and his stories were captivating for all who knew him. Of quick intellect, Calvin could fix anything and cipher with the best. He had a magnetic persona and will be fondly remembered for his genuineness and caring nature by family, friends, and associates far and wide. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul David Norris, Sr. and Bessie Williams Norris and one brother, Paul David Norris, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Becky Norris of Brownsville, TN; three sons, Robert Wade Norris (Tammy) Jackson, TN, Trinity Landis (Amy) Cordova, TN, William Chandler Norris (Megan) Simi Valley, CA; one brother, Ben Norris (Betty Sue) Brownsville, TN; three sisters, Frances Jernigan (Sonny) Clarksville, TN, Mary Ann Williams, Bells, TN, Betty Jane Morris (Scottie) Brownsville, TN; five grandchildren, Bailee Norris, Drake Norris, Roxie Norris, Aiden Norris, Styler Emison and many beloved nieces and nephews.
