Mr. Robert E. Ferguson, Sr., age 88 passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, TN. Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Somerville, TN. A visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014, 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Ferguson was employed by the Illinois Central Railroad and retired after 44 years. He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Gussie Murphy Ferguson and a brother: William Ferguson, Jr. He is survived by his son: Robert E. Ferguson, Jr. of Oakland, TN and a sister: Mary Ruby of Southaven, MS. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
