Mr. Richard (Dodie) Eldred Parks, age 93, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at Crestview Healthcare Center in Brownsville, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Monday, July 9, 2012 in Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. A visitation for the Parks family will be Monday, July 9, 2012, 10:00 to service time at 11:00. Mr. Parks was preceded in death by his wife: Will Allen Kendrick Parks and his parents: Lexie Harvey and Stella Watridge Parks. He is survived by his son; Richard "Dickie" Parks (Joe Ann) Brownsville, TN; two grandchildren: Lori Parks (Jim) Brownsville, TN, Jill Jordan (Brent) Jackson, TN, three great grandchildren: Zack Christian, Erin Christian and Tucker Jordan all of Jackson, TN. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
