Richard's Obituary Richard Kirkland, age 74, of Somerville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a member of Morris Chapel Baptist Church, a retired supervisor for CertainTeed, and avid fisherman, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and would have celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, May 2, 2014. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, April 28, 2014, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville, Tennessee. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in the Chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville officiated by Bro. John Ed Watkins. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Whiteville, Tennessee. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Austin Kirkland of Somerville; a daughter, Sharon Kirkland Boullion (Jason) of Somerville; a brother, Earnest Kirkland (Kay) of Brownsville; a sister, Earline Benard of Eurekaton; three grandchildren, John Boullion, Jessica Boullion Wright (Ricky), and Harry Bates; and seven great grandchildren, James Boullion, Nelson Walters, Nathan Wright, Eli Walters, Steven 'Scooter' Boullion, Lucas 'Gabe' Wright, and Brayden 'Bray-bray' Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Washington and Nora Bell Watson Kirkland; two grandchildren, James Michael Kirkland and Jason 'Kirk' Boullion; five brothers and one sister Pallbearers will be Adam Boullion, Terry Benard, Ricky Wright, Justin Hill, Jimmy McBride, and Billy E.
