Ray's Obituary
Mr. William Ray Mosier age 67, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 in Decatur County.
He was born August 3, 1948 in Bells to the late Floyd Mosier and Louise Duncan Mosier. He served our country in United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.
Mr. Mosier is survived by his son, Kevin Mosier and wife Kathy of Gadsden; daughter, Kelly Hicks and husband Marc of Gadsden; sister, Jewel Tritt of Bells; brothers, Noah “Jr.” Dutton and John Castellaw both of Bells and Zack Castellaw of Virginia; mother of his children, Donna Mosier of Gadsden; special friend, Jeanne Mayer of Jackson. Other survivors include six grandchildren, Drake Mosier, Kristopher Mosier, Jamie Hicks, Shirley Hicks, Brandon Hicks and Brent Hicks as well as one great grandchild, Sadie Hicks.
Funeral services for Mr. Ray Mosier, will be conducted on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Bells Funeral Home with Bro. Walter Manley officiating. Burial will follow in Gadsden United Methodist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. The Mosier family will receive friends at Bells Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers are Steve Cowan, Mark Robinson, Mark Malm, Tony Perry, Greg Farrow and Marty Barnickle. Gene Wilson will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
