Randal's Obituary Mr. Randal C. Dotson Sr., age 74, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the North Delta Hospice House in Southaven, MS. He was born in Nashville, TN on August 21, 1942 to the late Mr. Jesse Dotson and Elizabeth Fox Dotson. Mr. Dotson was United States Navy Veteran, serving as a Corpsman First Class in the Vietnam War. He also worked for United Healthcare as an insurance salesman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife of 22 years, Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Dotson and his second wife of 28 years, Mrs. Patsy Hawkins Dotson; one son: Robert Eugene Dotson and two brothers: James Dotson and Lawrence Dotson. He is survived by three sons: Randal C. Dotson Jr. and his wife Donna J. of Bartlett, TN, James Benjamin Lawrence Dotson of Colorado Springs, CO, and Robert Dyrol Smith and his wife Tina of Germantown, TN; two daughters: Shannon Renae Baroni and her husband Joseph R. of Lake Cormorant, MS and Tracci Lyn Schultz and her husband Mark D. of Hernando, MS, one sister: Patsy Brewington of West VA. He leaves a legacy of 11 grandchildren: Shayne Elizabeth Dotson, Christopher Robert McDaniel, Hannah Renae Baroni, Hailey Paige Baroni, Amanda Schultz MacMillan, Dalton Dexter Schultz, Dillon Dakota Schultz, Gregory Wayne Reynolds, Brittany Nicole Reynolds, Robert Phillip Smith and John Matthew Smith. He also leaves two great-grandchildren, Easton Thomas MacMillan and Olivia Brooke McDaniel. Funeral services for Mr. Dotson will be conducted on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Mark McSwain officiating. Brownsville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in the Ararat Baptist Church Cemetery.
