Phyllis Baggett Hall, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully on January 27, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on May 22, 1954, Phyllis was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her. Her warm spirit and laughter could light up any room, and she spent her life devoted to hard work and nurturing the bonds that mattered most.

Phyllis found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly watching television and spending time with friends. These moments brought her happiness and allowed her to connect with the world around her. Her generous heart and supportive nature made her a beloved companion to many.

Phyllis is survived by her devoted son, Brandon Lee Hall, who brought her immense pride and joy. She treasured each moment with her beloved grandchildren, Tyler Hall and Brooklyn Hall, who were the light of her life and the source of many cherished memories. Phyllis's legacy is interwoven with the love she shared with her family, and her memory will live on in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Rachel Evans Baggett, Sr., who instilled in her the values of perseverance and kindness. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Tommy Baggett, Jr., Jackie Baggett, and Sammy Baggett, as well as her sisters, Billie Bates and Sue Gibbs Whisnant. The bonds of family were significant in Phyllis's life, and she will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

A memorial service to honor Phyllis's beautiful spirit will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Brownsville Haywood County Parks and Recreation, located at 100 Boyd Ave., Brownsville, TN 38012. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her.

Phyllis Baggett Hall’s legacy of love, warmth, and hard work will forever live on in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers any memorials be made to the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.  All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
