Phyllis' Obituary
Mrs. Phyllis Ann Watson Fisher, age 66 of Ripley, TN passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at the Lauderdale Community Living Center.
She was born on April 5, 1950 in Haywood County to the late Mr. Joe Bill Watson and Nanny Belle Kizer Watson. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church of Ripley and worked as a self-employed entrepreneur in many industries. She was the owner and operator of an auction house, private home cleaning, two restaurants and a local flower shop.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother Mrs. Revie Watson; two daughters: an infant daughter and her step-daughter Mary Beth Fisher; and one sister: Carol Nynarncie Watson Hardee.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband Mr. Thomas R. Fisher of Ripley; three sons: Jimmy Lee Hardee Jr. and his wife Kay of Ripley, TN, David Wayne Hardee and his wife Wendy of Gates, TN and Timothy Allen Hardee and his wife Kathy of Newbern, TN; four brothers: Billy Pittman, Thomas Pittman, James Pittman and Bubba Watson; five sisters: Lisa Edmonds, Jo Marie Baggett, Angela Martin, Debra Phillips and Carolyn Morris. She leaves a legacy of 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild on the way!
Pallbearers will be Spencer Hardee, Timothy Hardee Jr., Sam Dukes, Patrick Craig, Chris Littles and Mike Fisher. Honorary Pallbearers will be PO2 Jesse Hardee (U.S. Navy), Colton Hardee and Harold Murphy.
Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Ann Watson Fisher will be conducted on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Don Layman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Fisher family will receive friends on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
