Perry's Obituary
Perry Annette Mayfield Watridge Ms. Perry Annette Mayfield Watridge, age 69, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 30, 2013, at her home in Bells, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Allen Mayfield and Garnett Jones Mayfield; her beloved husband, Billy Wayne Watridge; and a brother, Bobby Allen Mayfield. Graveside services will be held at Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bells, TN, on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at 11:00 am, with Dr. Fred Campbell and Bro. Greg Baker officiating. Ms. Perry, as she was so lovingly known, worked as a Special Education Teacher Assistant for over thirty years in the Bells Elementary School. She was very devoted to her children and loved them as much as they loved her. Ms. Perry could do things with children that no one else could. She had a very tender heart. She had many special children that she was close to, but her favorite was Pablo. She was a very active member of Holly Grove Baptist Church. She always decorated the tables for any special occasion at the church and also made sure that flowers were on the remembrance table. She served on the youth committee and rode the church van picking up youth, as long as she was able. Perry loved her church and was loved by her church family. She also loved her Lord and she lived out her Christian faith. She was always witnessing to someone. Ms. Watridge is survived by two daughters, Tammy Watridge Womack, of Collierville, TN, and Mona Denise Watridge, of Bells, TN; her granddaughter, Hannah Nicole Womack, of Knoxville, TN; Hannah's father, Scott Womack, of Memphis, TN; her brother, Travis Mayfield (Peggy), of Bells, TN; several special nieces and nephews; and several special cousins. Visitation will be held at Holly Grove Baptist Church, Bells, TN, on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, from 9:00 am until graveside service time. Read More Read Less
