Pamela Rainey Walker

Pamela Rainey Walker, age 62, a resident of Medina, TN, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the Christian Care Center of Medina. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN with Bro. Tommy Manley officiating. Burial will follow at Brownsville Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, TN. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 12 Noon – 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. 

 Pamela was born on October 20, 1961, in Tiptonville, TN to Jack Rainey and Wanda Lewis Rainey. She took great pride in taking care of her family and being a homemaker. She was devoted to helping everyone else before herself. Her proudest accomplishments were loving and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will long be remembered as a loving Mother, Maw-Maw, and Mother-in-law. She was described by her family has the “Perfect Mother.” She loved the Lord, and always enjoyed great coffee and playing computer games. Nothing brightened her day more than a great diet coke and salted peanuts. 

She is survived by her son, Derek Miller (Amanda) of Humboldt, TN; her daughter, Carrie Whitmore (Dylan) of Milan, TN; her husband, James Walker of Selma, NC; one brother, Billy Rainey of Trimble, TN; two sisters, Linda Randall and Theresa Sweat, both of Humboldt, TN and one step-son, Terry Walker (Trish) of NC. She leaves a legacy of love for her ten grandchildren, Ashlyn Miller, Madelyn Trimmer (Hunter), Gracelyn Miller, Annslee Miller, Preslee Miller, Derek Jax Miller, Savannah Whitmore, Silas Whitmore, Pamela Whitmore, and Bryden Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Wanda Rainey and one sister, Charlotte Gray.

 Pallbearers for the service will be Dylan Whitmore, Billy Rainey, Javier Torres, Tyler Randall, Justin Herron, and Derek Miller. 

 In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
