Opal Mae Robinson

Mrs. Opal Mae Robinson, age 106 passed away at her home in Brownsville, TN on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 3, 2016 in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home and at 5:00 P.M., Friday, June 3, 2016 in the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Yuma, TN with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2016 from 1:00 -2:00 P.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Opal was born in Yuma, TN on February 4, 1910 to Samuel Lee Taylor and Susan Arzolia Gibson Taylor. She was one of six children, which have all preceded her in death. She made a profession of faith at the age of 12 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where she has remained a member there for the last 94 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Lonnie Robinson, Sr. She is survived by one son: Lonnie Robinson, Jr. (Lillian), Brownsville, TN and many other family and friends.
