Olene Blount

Olene Wateridge Blount, age 90, passed away at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN on Monday, August 22, 2011. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, August, 24, 2011 at 3PM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation for the family will be Wednesday, August 24, 2011, 1 to 3 PM in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Mrs. Blount was preceded in death by her parents: William Herman Wilkes and Sallie Deborah Doane Wilkes, her three husbands: Lofton Wateridge, Charles Harwell, Millard Blount and her brother: Curtis Wilkes. She is survived by her son: Wilkes "Bubba" Wateridge (Kaye) Whiteville, TN, two daughters: Carolyn Mann Mathis, Jackson, TN, Emily Davis, Brownsville, TN, eight grandchildren: Randy Mann III, William Mann, Sarah Tosh, Dale Kendrick, Dawn Brizentine, Deborah Glaser, Vickie Campbell and Denise Hooser, fourteen great grandchildren: Bryce Mann, Nathan Mann, Peyton Mann, Jonathan Tosh, Joseph Tosh, Britany Brizentine, Caleb Kendrick, Gabby Glaser, Gracie Glaser, Courtney Campbell, Austin Campbell, Brooke Voss, Christian Hooser and Riley Hooser. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 2170 Business Center Drive, Suite 1, Memphis, TN 38134.
