Norma Lee's Obituary Mrs. Norma Lee "Nompy" Smith, age 82, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009 in Haywood Park Community Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 20, 2009 in Trinity Cemetery in Nutbush, TN with Rev. Sammy Tillman officiating. "Nompy" is survived by her husband of sixty years, Albert F. "Shorty" Smith, Jr.; one daughter: Lynn Prussia (Steve) of Conroe, TX; two sons: Franklin Smith and Steve Smith (Cindy) of Brownsville, TN; five grandchildren: Lauren Morris (Jason), Apopka, FL, Jenny Helms (Andy), Knoxville, TN, Freeman Smith, Brownsville, TN, Whitney Prussia, Conroe, TX, and Elam Smith, Brownsville, TN; one great grandchild: Ella Morris, Apopka, FL; and two sisters-in-law: Olga Ann Sellari (Ike) and Jacqueline Smith (Floyd deceased), of Brownsville, TN. "Nompy" adored her big brother, Thomas Freeman (deceased) and his family, Carolyn Murphey Freeman and Linda Freeman of Brownsville, TN and Carol Freeman LaGrange (Paul) of Franklin, TN. "Nompy" who worked at the ASCS Office in Brownsville for thirty-five years before retiring, is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Two people who had a very special place in Nompy's heart are Gwen Reid and Margaret Cannon Smith. Memorials may be made to First UMC Reid Willis Music Fund, 117 E.
