Nancy's Obituary Bells - Mrs. Nancy Ann Evans Pearson, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at the Bells Nursing Home with three lifelong friends by her side. She was a member of the First Christian Church her entire life and where in the past, she was a youth Sunday school teacher, Elder, and board member. Nancy was born September 2, 1930, in Bells, TN, the daughter of the late Bessie and B.A. Evans. She graduated Bells High School in 1949 and in 1950, she married the love of her life, Ray "Putt" Pearson. For over thirty years, she owned and operated a thriving flower shop called, "The Flower Box", which she sold to pursue other passions. She was very talented in many areas including multiple crafts and genealogy (hers and others) but she particularly loved working with flowers, winning many awards with them, and was constantly in the yard. Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ray Pearson. She is survived by three sons, Ricky (Felecia), Bill and Scott (Angie), all of Bells as well as six grandchildren: Sara (Eric), Katelyn, Billy, Cassie, Jonathan, and James, a niece Carol (Bill) Troutt, and two nephews, Mike (Sans) Pearson, and Don (Gina) Pearson. Also a special dog, "Little Bit". Funeral services for Mrs. Pearson will be conducted Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 11am at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Home, Bells Chapel with burial will follow in Belleview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home. Those serving as pallbearers are Billy Pearson, Jonathan Pearson, James Pearson, Eric Price, Mike Pearson, and Don Pearson. The Pearson family would like to thank Mrs. Willie Esters, a very, very special caregiver. We don't know what we would have done without her for the last twelve years. The Pearson family would also like to thank the staff of the Bells Nursing Home for the love and care mom was given while there. You are truly special people, who cared deeply for mom.
