MyraJo Hurley MyraJo Hurley, age 94 passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in the Crestview Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hurley was a lifelong resident of Brownsville. She studied voice at Rhodes College, sang in the First United Methodist Church choir for many years, and never missed a Tabernacle Camp Meeting. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and focused her life on loving them. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, L.Z. Hurley, her parents, Robert and Ruth Edwards Thornton, one sister, Lois Young and one grandson, Dayton Mann. She is survived by three daughters, Sue Keathley (Jimmy), Nan Downing (Rick) and Linda Mann (Bradford), all of Brownsville, TN, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A very special thank you to everyone at Sugar Creek Retirement Center and Crestview Healthcare Center for the kindness and compassion shown to our mother.
