Minnie's Obituary Mrs. Minnie Maxine Carr, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 5, 2013, at her home in Bells, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mack Cross Powell and Lola Mae Sweat; two daughters: Helen Butler and Alice Davis; a son: Landell Sweat; two brothers: Raymond Powell and Billy Joe Powell; and a sister: Mae Lola Dillon. Funeral services will be held at the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes Chapel of Bells, TN, on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 2:00 P.M., with Bro. Chris Watt officiating. Burial will follow in Cypress Church Cemetery, Bells, TN Mrs. Carr was a Baptist. She worked for many years at Pictsweet Frozen Foods in houskeeping. Everyone there loved and respected Mrs. Maxine as she was so well known. She was also owner and operator for many years at Dillon's Cafe in Bells. Mrs. Maxine is survived by two sons: Mack Carr ,(Renee) and Steve Carr all of Bells, TN; three daughters: Kay Hopper and Carol Ivy both of Bells, TN, and Linda Carr of Jackson, TN; one sister: Margie Patrick, Chicago, IL; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers for Mrs. Maxine's service will be Ethan Isom, Nathan Isom, Billy Pearson, Rodney Hopper, Tony Butler and Brian Carr. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Ivey and Chris Butler Visitation will be held at the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes Chapel in Bells, TN, on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, from 5:00 -8:00 P.M.
